Guide to South Korea’s Vessel Speed Reduction (VSR) programme

INTERTANKO identified the need to develop a comprehensive and easy-to-read guide on South Korea’s Vessel Speed Reduction (VSR) programme.
Following on from our article on South Korea’s ECA and Vessel Speed Reduction (VSR) programme, we received a number of questions from Members and have published an INTERTANKO guide on the subject.
The guide is self-explanatory and designed in a way that allows Members to send it straight to their ships’ Masters. It addresses the questions we received, including slight differences in implementation policies adopted by the three Port Authorities.
The accuracy of the Guide has been checked with the three Port Authorities in Korea.
