VIQ (Vessel Inspection Questionnaire)
Introduction
INTERTANKO, through the work of its Vetting Committee, created a Vessel Inspection Questionnaire (VIQ) Benchmarking Database which is based upon the latest SIRE VIQ. The system allows Members to compare their SIRE VIQ7 number of observations for each chapter, as well as the total number of observations, against a pool of other INTERTANKO users.
The user-friendly benchmarking tool enables SIRE VIQ7 reports to be automatically uploaded on a vessel-by-vessel basis, providing the most accurate way of benchmarking. Members can now upload an XML file containing SIRE VIQ7 details downloaded from the OCIMF website or enter report details manually.
Users will be able to benchmark their overall number of observations as well as benchmark the number of observations for each chapter of the VIQ against the INTERTANKO average pool.
