Ballast Water Legislation
The following list details only those local, national and regional ballast water requirements which are mandatory and does not include proposed or non-mandatory requirements unless they have gained agreement and been given a clear implementation or enforcement date.
Many of the pieces of legislation refer directly to the IMO Guidelines and in particular the requirements for ballast water management and reporting contained in Resolution A.868(20). Together with the Resolution you can also download the IMO Standard Reporting Form.
